December’s Cocktails for a Cause campaign raises funds for local cancer patients
BELOIT, WI (January 22, 2020) – Beloit’s Geronimo Hospitality Group, owner and operator of award-winning lodging, dining, golf and fitness facilities throughout the Midwest, has proudly presented a check in the amount of $3,000 to the Rock County Cancer Coalition (RCCC), thanks to the community’s support of its Cocktails for a Cause campaign in December.
Geronimo teamed up with Tito’s Handmade Vodka to donate $2 for every signature Tito’s cocktail sold in the month of December, up to $3,000. In total, the Beloit restaurants - Lucy’s #7 Burger Bar, Bessie’s Diner, Merrill & Houston’s Steak Joint, Velvet Buffalo, Truk’t, and Beloit Club sold nearly 2,000 Tito’s cocktails.
“We’re proud to support community organizations like the Rock County Cancer Coalition that continue to make an impact on the lives of so many people in our region,” said Klaus Nitsch, Vice President of Restaurant Operations at Geronimo Hospitality Group. “This giving campaign was a great success thanks to the support of our restaurants, guests and partner, Tito’s Handmade Vodka.”
Geronimo’s Delafield, Wisconsin, restaurant, I.d., also partnered with Tito’s to collect donations, and has presented a check in the amount of $1,000 to the Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS) of Waukesha County.
